Ingredients
One beetroot, one cup of curd, a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of chaat masala, a pinch of coriander leaves, a pinch of hing (asafoetida), one teaspoon of oil, half a teaspoon of mustard seeds, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds (jeera), and 4-5 curry leaves.
Preapre beetroot
Start by peeling the beetroot skin and grating it into thin strips. Boil the beetroot for 5-7 minutes until it is soft.
Add yoghurt
Now, add the grated beetroot to the yoghurt and combine them together. Sttir it well until it is smooth and creamy.
Add spices
Add chaat masala, black pepper, and coriander leaves to the yoghurt bowl. Mix it well; this will enhance the flavour.
Prepare tadka
Take a small tadka pan and add oil, jeera, mustard seeds, hing, and curry leaves. Cook it for 1-2 minutes until it starts to crackle.
Add tadka
Now, add the prepared tadka over the beetroot salad and let it sizzle. Give the beetroot salad a final mix and enjoy.
