Ingredients
One cup roasted peanuts, one onion, one tomato, half a cucumber, half a cup chopped coriander leaves, two green chillies, half a lemon, two teaspoons of salt, a teaspoon of red chilli powder, a teaspoon chaat masala, and one tablespoon ghee.
Roast peanuts
Heat ghee in a pan and add peanuts with salt and spice. Roast the peanuts at a low flame until they turn golden brown.
Rest peanuts
Transfer roasted peanuts to a bowl with tissue paper. This will absorb the excess oil and make the peanuts crisp.
Chop vegetables
Thoroughly wash the vegetables and finely chop the tomato, onion, and cucumber into small pieces.
Assemble the Chaat
Take a bowl and add chopped vegetables, roasted peanuts, salt, pepper, chaat masala and chopped green chillies. Toss it well with peanuts to combine.
Garnish and serve
Garnish the chaat with chopped coriander leaves on top. Squeeze half a lemon, toss it again to mix, and serve.
