Ingredients
500 ml of milk, one cup of curd, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of desi ghee, two tablespoons of rose water, half a cup of makhanas (fox nuts), raisins, almonds, and four tulsi leaves
Mix ingredients
Take a bowl and add milk, curd, ghee, honey, and rose water. Mix this well to form a smooth paste.
Roast makhanas
Roast some makhnas on a low flame with some ghee. Toss them until they are crispy and golden brown.
Add tulsi leaves
Now, add tulsi leaves to this mixture to increase the aroma and freshness. It also enhances the taste of the holy drink.
Garnish
Now, garnish the panchamrit with roasted makhanas, raisins, almonds, and some rose petals on top. You can also add saffron to it.
Refrigerate
Pour this into a glass bowl and refrigerate it for atleast one hour. And serve it chilled during Janmashtami puja.
