Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal imbalance where the ovaries do not release eggs regularly, leading to missed or irregular periods. However, to reduce PCOS symptoms, here are a few yoga positions to try. Tap to know them!
Malasana
Stand with feet hip-width apart, squat down, and join palms in a prayer position. Press the elbows towards inner knees, keep the spine straight with chest lifted.
Butterfly Pose
Lay down and bend your knees while keeping your feet flat. Open legs sideways to form a diamond shape, place hands on your side, and breathe deeply with eyes closed.
Cat-Cow Pose
Start on all fours, inhale, and arch your back while lifting your head and taibone (cow pose). Exhale, round your spine, and tuck your chin (cat pose).
Bridge Pose
Lay flat on a yoga mat with knees bent and place hands on your side. Lift your hips towards the ceiling. Engage your core and glutes in this pose.
Seated-Forward Bend
Sit on a yoga mat, extend your legs, inhale, and raise your arms over your head. Then exhale and bend forward to touch your feet while keeping the back straight.
