Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Urinary tract infection can cause inflammation, leading to cloudy urine along with foul smell, burning sensation during urination, and more.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)

Sexually Transmitted Infections such as Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can also cause cloudy urine following pelvic pain and discomfort.

Vaginal Infection

Vaginal infection such as yeast infection sometimes mixes with the urine giving a milky texture causing the urine to become cloudy.

Kidney Stones

Women with kidney stones often experience cloudy urine, followed by symptoms such as blood in urine or sharp pain in the back and side.

Dehydration

Dehydration is a common cause of cloudy urine in women because of low fluids in the body which causes increased presence of waste products.

Diabetes

High blood sugar increases the glucose and ketones in the body which the kidney is not able to filter out properly, leading to cloudy urine.

When the periods are about to end, the urine mixes with the blood giving it a cloudy and milky appearance.
