What is SPF?

SPF OR Sun Protection Factor, is a measure to indicate how long a sunscreen can protect your skin from UV rays of the sun.

SPF 30

SPF 30 helps block 96% of the UV rays of the sun. It protects your skin 30 times more than when not applying sunscreen. Use it for daily use or short periods of sun exposure.

SPF 50

SPF 50 helps block 98% of the UV rays of the sun. It is 50 times more effective than SPF 30. Use it for longer exposure to the sun and while sunbathing.

SPF 30 or SPF 50

SPF 30 is better for daily use if you are spending more time indoors. SPF is ideal if you are out during peak sun hours and while swimming.

15-minute rule

Apply your sunscreen atleast 15 minutes before going out. It will take time to absorb into your skin. This will guard against sunburns on your skin.

Application Tips

Reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours for better sun protection. It helps protect your skin from sunburns and premature ageing.
