Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth)
Multani mitti’s soothing properties help remove the dark holi colours. Mix two teaspoons of multani mitti and rose water, chill for 15-20 minutes, apply on the skin, and leave for 30 minutes and then wash it off.
Olive Oil
Olive oil helps remove stubborn holi colours. First, bathe to remove most of the colour, then take half a bowl of olive oil and heat until lukewarm. Apply it on the body and scrub with a towel. Then take another bath to remove the remaining stains.
Egg White and Curd
Crack an egg in a bowl and remove its yolk. Add one tablespoon of curd to it and mix well. Gently scrub your face with it to remove colours. It also acts as a great moisturiser for the skin.
Wheat Flour
Wheat flour is great for removing colours. Take two tablespoons of wheat flour and lemon juice in a bowl, mix, and apply on the skin. Scrub well, then rinse off to remove the colours.
Mustard Oil
Mustard oil hydrates the skin and helps remove colour from the face. First, bathe and dry your skin by patting, and apply the oil properly on the stained area. Leave it in for one hour, then bathe again to remove the stains.
