High Fever

The skin starts to peel in large sheets, commonly in palms and foot soles. This peeling generally occurs after one to two weeks.
Redness
The toxic shock syndrome makes the lining of eyes (conjunctiva), mouth, and throat to become red and inflamed.
Sunburn like Rash
During this illness, rashes occur that resemble sunburn, with flat, red patches spread throughout the body.
