Ingredients

Take one cup green gram flour, one cup maida, ½ cup powdered sugar, one and a half cup milk, saffron, one cup sugar, and ½ teaspoon baking powder.

What Else Do You Need?

Take ghee, rabdi, dried rose petals, slivered almonds, peeled and slivered pistachios, and silver Varq.

Preparation

Take a non-stick pan and dry roast green gram flour in it. Then transfer them into a bowl and allow them to cool completely.

Batter

Add maida, powdered sugar, and milk, whisk until it forms a smooth batter. Add a pinch of saffron and mix again. Cover it for 4-5 hours.

Sugar Syrup

Heat a non-stick pan, mix sugar, a pinch of saffron and ½ cup water, and cook once you achieve a thick consistency. Mix baking powder as well.

Malpua

Heat ghee on medium heat in a shallow pan. Take small portions of batter and put in ghee. Spread lightly in a disc shape and deep fry until golden brown.

Soak

Take the malpua out on an absorbent paper and soak them in warm syrup for at least 10 minutes.

Serve

Spread rabdi on a serving plate, keep malpuas on it, drizzle some more rabdi on it, and garnish with rose petals, almonds, pistachio and silver varq, and serve.
