Ingredients
Take one medium watermelon, 2-3 teaspoon oil, one teaspoon cumin seeds, chopped ginger, red chilli powder, lemon juice and sugar, and two teaspoon chopped garlic.
What Else Do You Need?
Two finely chopped green chillies, medium onions and coriander leaves, half teaspoon turmeric, coriander and cumin powder, salt, and fresh coriander sprig.
Preparation
Take the watermelon, peel off the skin thickly, leaving the white part (watermelon rind). Remove the outer skin and cut the white part into one inch pieces.
Non-Stick Pan
Take a non-stick pan and saute onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, and cumin seeds for 1-2 minutes.
Spices
After sautéing, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt in the pan. Mix and sauté them for one minute.
Cook
After sautéing the spices, add watermelon rind and mix well for one minute. Then add one-fourth cup of water, cover the lid, and cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
Mix and Serve!
Add lemon juice, sugar, and coriander leaves. Cook for one minute and mix well. Transfer the dish into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprig and serve!
