The majority of the time, you don't realise you're overeating until you start to feel bloated. So here are seven overeating warning signs to look out for.

Having Trouble Breathing

Overeating can put a strain on the diaphragm, making breathing harder or causing shortness of breath.

Acid Reflux

Overeating can induce acid reflux, which causes discomfort and a burning sensation in the chest as stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus.

Irregular Bowel Movements

Due to changes in digestion and the body's ability to absorb large meals, overeating can induce constipation or diarrhoea.

Feeling Sluggish

Excessive food consumption might result in a decline in energy levels and feelings of exhaustion.

Harder To Exercise

When you digest a lot of food, it becomes harder for your body to power your heart and other muscles.

Weight Gain

Overeating can lead to weight gain and other health problems such as obesity and diabetes over time.

Difficult In Sleeping

Overeating not only slows digestion but can also impair your ability to sleep well.

The most effective way to avoid overeating is to consume no more than 70% of your hunger.
