Ingredients
400 grams raw mangoes, oil, half tsp mustard seeds, one tsp Bengal gram dal, half tsp split urad dal, salt, a few curry leaves, one dried red chilli, one-third cup jaggery powder, water, half tsp turmeric powder.
Prep and Cook Mangoes
Peel and chop raw mangoes. Boil with turmeric powder and water until soft and slightly mushy in texture.
Add Jaggery and Simmer
Afterwards, you need to add jaggery powder to the cooked mangoes. Stir well and let it simmer until it forms a thick mixture.
Prepare the Tempering
After that, you have to heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, Bengal gram dal, urad dal, curry leaves, and dried red chilli.
Combine and Serve
Pour the tempering over the mango mixture and mix it well. Now, serve warm or chilled, which is perfect with rice or as a side.
