Ingredients
Half a cup rice, half a cup moong dal, one tsp ghee, half tsp turmeric, salt, water, ghee, chilli powdered, one tsp cumin, one bay leaf, a pinch hing, one tsp ginger garlic paste, half tsp garam masala one tomato, one onion.
Prepare Ingredients
Take rice and moong dal together and rinse it. Collect all the spices and ghee. Finely cut onion and tomato.
Saute Spices
Take a cooker and heat it. Now, add cumin, bay leaf, hing, and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until aromatic.
Cook Vegetables
Collect all the vegetables and cut them finely with chilli powder, and salt. Cook till it gets soft and blend with the spices.
Add Rice and Dal
After that, mix in rice, dal, and water. Pressure cook for three whistles till everything becomes soft and mushy.
Final Touch
At the end add garam masala and stir it well! Now, garnish with ghee. Serve hot with curd, papad, or pickle.
