Ingredients
Take half teaspoon oil, one-fourth teaspoon mustard seeds, half teaspoon white urad dal, few curry leaves, two cups yoghurt, one grated beetroot.
What Else You Need?
Two finely chopped green chillies, one teaspoon cumin powder, and salt as per taste.
Preparation
Take a mixing bowl, add yoghurt, salt, cumin powder, green chillies, and grated beetroot. Mix well.
Transfer
After mixing the ingredients, adjust the cumin powder and salt as per taste. Then transfer the raita in a serving bowl.
Seasoning
Heat oil in a tadka pan (tempering pan), add mustard seeds and urad dal until it turns golden brown and crisp.
Pour seasoning
When the seeds and dal turn crispy and golden brown, stir curry leaves and turn the heat off.
Serve
Pour the seasoning on the beetroot raita and it is ready to serve.
