Ingredients
Take 10-15 seeded and chopped red dates, one cup suji (semolina), five teaspoons of ghee, a pinch of salt, and two and a half cups of milk.
What Else Do You Need?
Take one cup sugar, one-fourth green cardamom powder, blanched pistachio slivers, and almond slivers.
Preparation
Take a pressure cooker, mix dates and three-fourth cup water, and cook until 3-4 whistles. Take the mixture out once the pressure is reduced. Grind the mixture coarsely.
Mixture
Heat a non-stick pan, add suji to it, and dry roast for at least 6-8 minutes. Transfer the roasted suji into a bowl.
Ghee
Heat three teaspoons of ghee on the same pan. Then add the roasted suji, dates and salt, and mix. Cook the mixture for at least one minute.
Other Ingredients
Mix milk in the mixture, cover it, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Then mix sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios, and cook for two minutes.
Drizzle and Serve
After cooking for two minutes, drizzle a teaspoon of ghee, mix well, and serve by garnishing pistachio and almond slivers.
