Ingredients
One cup of soya chunks, four potatoes, one onion, one teaspoon ginger, garlic and cumin seeds, two green chillies, coriander leaves, and ¼ teaspoon asafoetida.
What Else Do You Need?
½ teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon coriander powder, kashmiri powder, garam masala powder, ½ teaspoon red chilli powder and kasuri methi, oil, one tomato, and salt.
Preparation
To make aloo soya chunks, first boil the soya chunks, chop all the vegetables, crush kasuri methi, and grate ginger.
Water
Take a pan, add water, and bring it to a boil. Then add tomatoes, let them sit in it, peel its skin, and finely chop them.
Oil
Take a kadhai (cauldron), add asafoetida powder and cumin seeds to it, and let them fry. Once fried, add ginger, onion, and garlic, and cook until onions become translucent.
Spices
Once the onions become translucent, add potatoes, spice powders, and salt. Then cook everything for a few minutes.
Add Other Ingredients
After cooking for a few minutes, add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Soya Chunks
Finally, add soya chunks and add water as needed. Make salt adjustments as per your taste.
Serve!
Your aloo soya chunk sabji is ready to be served. You can eat it with chapati or naan.
