Ingredients
Take one and a half cup almonds, one and a half cup milk, one teaspoon vinegar, one and a half cup maida (refined flour), and salt to taste.
What Else Do You Need?
One teaspoon baking powder, ⅓ cup castor sugar, one teaspoon vanilla essence, ¼ cup melted butter, 2-3 teaspoon maple syrup, and ice-cream.
Preparation
Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius, place the almonds on a baking tray and roast them for at least 8-10 minutes.
Milk
Take a bowl, add milk and vinegar to it and mix them well. Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes.
Sift
Take a bowl, add refined flour (maida), baking powder, and salt in it. Mix well and then sift it in another bowl.
Castor Sugar
After sifting, add castor sugar in it and mix well. Once mixed, make a hole in the mixture and slowly pour and whisk the milk mixture made previously.
Butter
Once whisked, mix vanilla essence and butter. Set the mixture aside for 5-10 minutes.
Almonds
Keep some almonds for later, take the rest, add a pinch of salt, and grind them in a grinder to form a smooth paste.
Make Almond Butter
Add maple syrup into the mixture and grind again until smooth. Transfer this mixture into a bowl and chop some almonds on top of it.
Waffles
Take a waffle maker, grease it with melted butter and pour the batter evenly. Cook it for 6-8 minutes on medium heat until crisp and golden.
Apply Almond Butter
Once the waffles are ready, apply the almond butter properly. Add more chopped almonds in it.
Serve
Once the almond butter is spread evenly, serve the waffles with your favourite ice-cream on top.
