Ingredients

To make Atta biscuits, you only need three ingredients: one cup of whole wheat flour (atta), half a cup of jaggery or sugar, and half a cup of ghee.

Combine ingredients

Take a bowl and add atta and jaggery powder and stir it well. Add melted ghee and mix it well to make a soft dough.

Knead the dough

Knead the dough with this mixture and form a smooth ball. Cover it with a cloth and rest the dough for 15-20 minutes.

Shape biscuits

Roll and spread the dough using the rolling pin. Divide and cut the shape out of it using a cutter. Use the fork to make texture on the biscuit.

Bake biscuits

Place the cookies on a steel tray and set it inside a hot pan. Cook and bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Serve

Garnish with grated nuts on top and store them in an airtight container. Serve the biscuits with a hot cup of chai (tea).
