A text neck occurs when we look down at phones or other electronic devices for prolonged periods, straining our neck and back and causing neck pain, stiffness, and more. However, to relieve this pain, here are a few effective exercises. Tap to know!

Downward-Facing Dog

Start on all fours, tuck your toes, lift your hips high, and straighten your legs. Keep your head in between the arms and look towards your feet.

Bow Pose

Lie on your stomach, bend your knees and bring heels close to the hips. Hold your ankles with your hands, inhale, and lift your chest, while gently pulling ankles.

Exaggerated Nod

Sit or stand up straight, then slowly tilt your chin towards your chest, and gently move one or two inches backward past the starting position.

Chin Tucks

Sit or stand straight with relaxed shoulders. Then gently pull your chin backward, as if making a double chin. Hold the position for 5 seconds.

Cat-Cow Pose

Start on all fours with your back flat. Inhale with arching your back, lifting head and tailbone. Then exhale and round your back by tucking chin and tailbone.

Padahastasana

Stand with feet together and slowly bend forward keeping back straight. Slide hands under feet with palms facing up. Try to keep your legs straight.
