You'd see bodybuilders eating more than 10-12 eggs a day but how many eggs should a normal person eat especially a patient of diabetes or heart disease? We asked this question to a doctor to find the right answer. Dr. Bela Sharma who is working in the Internal Medicine Department at the Fortis Hospital, Gurugram says, "It would probably be better to eat the whole egg instead of just eating the egg white. People who have heart problems or diabetes, cholesterol, obesity should restrict their egg consumption to 2-3 eggs per week." She also suggested to eat whole eggs either boiled or half-boiled but not fried or omelet, etc. These increase calories which may not go down well with your body and affect the medical condition.
