Benefits Of Giloy: Here’s How You Can Consume Giloy For Maximum Health Benefits

You all must have heard about giloy once in your life at least. This herb is enriched with antioxidants which helps to fight with many bacteria that cause server disease. It is believed that consuming Giloy boosts your immunity as well.  But do you know how can you make full use of this medicine herb by including it in your daily lifestyle?  The best way to have this is in its fresh form. So, if you have fresh giloy, make sure that you take a one finger-long steam, wash it properly and boil it in 2 glasses of water till water is reduced to half. Then let it cool for a few minutes and consume it in its lukewarm state. On average, one glass of giloy water is good to give you immense benefits for health. It is also great in nutritional value too. Listed below is one such great giloy drink that you can easily make at home: 


  • 2-inch ginger 
  • 2-4 Tulsi leaves 
  • One finger-long giloy stem 
  • Cardamom and 2 black pepper 

METHOD: Boil two glass of water and add ginger, Tulsi and giloy and then boil it till the mixture is reduced to half. Now switch off the gas and add cardamom and black pepper and cover the pan with a lid. Wait for 5 – 10 minutes. Then filter it and drink it while it is still lukewarm. You can drink this one time, half a glass.
