Choose clean and comfortable products
Select pads, reusable pads, tampons, and menstrual cups that suit your flow and body. Make sure to change it every few hours.
Change pads every 4-6 hours
Change pads or tampons every 4-6 hours to prevent bacterial infections. Change menstrual cups every 12 hours.
Maintain genital hygiene
Use lukewarm water to wash the vaginal area. Avoid using harsh soaps or intimate washes, as they can disrupt the pH balance.
Dispose responsibly
Wrap used sanitary napkins in newspaper and dispose of them in a dustbin. Wash reusable pads with soap and water and sterilise menstrual cups with warm water.
Use gentle products
Try to use gentle and chemical-free products on your skin. Chemical-free products help the pH balance of the vagina.
