Ingredients
To make these nutritious and flavourful ladoos you need one and a half cups of grated coconut, and three-fourth cup of grated jaggery, ghee, a pinch of cardamom powder, and nuts (optional).
Melt Jaggery
This recipe is from the Indian Healthy Recipe website. In a pan add grated jaggery with a little water until it forms a thick syrup. Stir continuously on low flame to avoid burning.
Prepare the mix
Take another pan with a heavy bottom, add the grated coconut to the jaggery syrup. Give the mixture a good stir.
Cook the mix
Cook well until the mixture is uniform and starts to thicken. Sprinkle cardamom powder to enhance flavour.
Shape Ladoos with joy
Turn off the flame and once the mixture cools, grease your palms with ghee and take small portions and make small round balls.
