Ingredients

Half a cup of foxtail millet, one teaspoon of olive oil, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, one teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste, one cup of chopped vegetables, two cups of water, half a teaspoon of turmeric, and salt per your taste.

Soak the millet

Start by thoroughly washing the millet and soaking them in water for 10-15 minutes. Take a pan and add olive oil, cumin seeds, and garlic paste.

Saute vegetables

Now, add the chopped vegetables to the pan and cook them for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Stir it continuously to avoid burning.

Add millet flour

Now, add soaked millet, water, turmeric, and salt to the pan. Cook and simmer the mixture until the millet is soft.

Garnish and serve

Squeeze half a lemon and add chopped coriander leaves with raw peanuts on top. Transfer to a bowl and serve it hot
