Ingredients
You require one and a half cups besan (gram flour), half cup chopped bhathua leaves, one-fourth teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain), 2-3 green chillies, one-fourth cup grated cottage cheese (paneer), salt to taste, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder, two tablespoons of fresh coriander leaves, one tablespoon yoghurt, and one tablespoon ghee.
Prepare batter
Take a mixing bowl and add besan, bathua leaves, ajwain, and paneer. Stir it well using a fork to prepare a smooth batter.
Add spices
Add chopped onions, green chilli, ajwain, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Stir it well to mix with the batter.
Prepare pan
Heat the pan on a medium flame. Lightly grease the pan with cooking oil or ghee for added flavour.
Cook chilla
Now, add two ladles of batter to the pan and spread it in a thin circle. Cook it well from both sides until golden brown.
Serve
Serve the chilla hot with yoghurt or mint chutney. You can also pair it with a pickle or ketchup on the side.
