Ingredients
Half cup rice (any variety), two cups water, half cup liquid castile soap, one tablespoon of coconut or almond oil, and a few drops of essential oil (optional).
Rinse and Soak Rice
You have to wash the rice. Now, take two cups of water and soak it with rice for 30 minutes. This will help to remove excess starch.
Strain and Collect Rice Water
Drain the rice into another bowl. Take care to keep the water since it is rich in nutrients like vitamins and minerals that have leached out from the rice.
Mix with Soap and Oils
In the rice water, add the castile soap, coconut/almond oil, and essential oil; mix well. It provides essential nutrients. It leaves your skin soft and refreshed.
Store in a Bottle
Transfer the mixture into a clean bottle and keep it handy for your shower routine. This will ensure easy access and storage.
