The IMD has predicted heatwave like situation in isolated parts of northwest and central India for the next three days.
Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water every 30-60 minutes to prevent dehydration and fatigue. You can drink coconut water, buttermilk, and lemonade to prevent the loss of fluids from your body.
Apply sunscreen
Make sure to wear sunscreen before stepping out. While sunscreen can not entirely block harmful UV rays from the sun, it can add a layer of protection to your skin.
Wear light clothes
Wear light clothes that are breathable and don’t trap moisture. Choose light-coloured cotton clothes that are loose-fitted.
Cover your head
Cover your head to protect your face, eyes, neck, and hair from UV rays. Wear a brimmed hat or cover your head with a cloth.
Wear sunglasses

Avoid peak hours
Try to stay indoors between 12pm to 4pm to avoid unnecessary sun exposure. It will protect you from harmful UV rays and will also prevent tanning.
