Ingredients

Two cups of diced guavas, one cup of red onion, one cup of brown sugar, one-fourth cup of apple cider vinegar, one teaspoon of ginger, half a teaspoon of red chilli powder, salt to taste, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and fresh coriander leaves.

Prepare guavas

Start by thoroughly washing and peeling the guavas. Remove any hard seeds and chop it into small pieces.

Combine ingredients

Take a bowl and add chopped guava pieces, red onion, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ginger, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice, and coriander leaves.

Cook the chutney

Take a saucepan and add the chutney mixture. Cook it over a medium flame until thickens.

Add flavours

Add sugar, salt, and lemon juice according to taste. Cook until sugar completely dissolves.

Store

Transfer the chutney into a glass jar and refrigerate. Consume it for two weeks.
