Ingredients
Half cup of water, one cup of milk, two tablespoons of tea leaves, one tablespoon of sugar, crushed ginger, 1-2 elaichi (cardamom), two slices of bread, and 2-3 tablespoons of fresh cream.
Prepare tea
Take a saucepan and boil water with ginger and tea leaves. Add sugar and milk and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Spread malai
Now, take the slice of bread and apply a good amount of nali on each side. Sprinkle some sugar on it.
Add honey or cinnamon powder
Now, close both bread slices together and drizzle some honey with cinnamon powder on top. This will enhance the sweet taste.
Pair with tea
Now, take the bread slices and pour the hot kadak chai over it. You can also eat the toast by dipping it in chai.
