Ingredients
100 gms granulated sugar, 45 gms unsweetened cocoa powder, three-fourth tbsp corn flour (cornstarch), a pinch of salt, one and a half cups milk, 85 ml mould, one-fourth tsp vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients
Whisk together the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, corn flour (cornstarch), and a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
Add the First Portion of Milk
Ultimately add half a cup of milk to the dry ingredients. Mix it well to make a smooth paste without any lumps.
Cook the Mixture
Take the saucepan over medium heat. Mix the mixture continuously. Ensure that it doesn’t burn, until it thickens. It will take about 3-5 minutes.
Add the Remaining Milk
After thickening, add one cup of milk, and mix it well. Take the mixture back to a simmer and bake it for the next 2-3 minutes. Ensure that it is blended well.
Add Vanilla Extract
Remove the mixture from the heat to add flavour. Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavour.
Cool Down
Allow the chocolate mixture to cool down for 10-15 minutes before pouring it into the popsicle moulds.
Freeze
Place the chocolate mixture into the popsicle moulds and insert sticks. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or overnight for the best results.
