Chhath Puja will be celebrated from 5th to 7th November this year. The festivities begin with the three-day fast without food and water. It can cause fatigue and dehydration, tap to read the tips to maintain energy levels during the fast.

Proper hydration

Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water, vegetable soups, juices, lemon water, and buttermilk.

Exercise routine

Practice low-impact or moderate exercises everyday such as swimming, brisk walking, yoga, and cycling.

Incorporate oils

Include two tablespoons of desi ghee or mustard oil in your diet. This will provide you with healthy fats.

Boost immunity

Boost your immunity by drinking tulsi-infused water. It will aid the digestion process and keep you hydrated.

Healthy diet

Eat a healthy diet rich in proteins, carbohydrates, and vegetables. It provides you with essential nutrients and boosts your energy.

Avoid unsaturated fats

Avoid unsaturated fats and processed junk food like alcohol and maida. It can cause fatigue and lower your metabolism.
