What is gond katira?

Gond Katira is natural gum which has cooling properties. It helps keep regulating temperature and prevents dehydration.

Ingredients

One cup of watermelon, one tablespoon of gond katira, one tablespoon of basil seeds, a teaspoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey, a few mint leaves, and ice cubes.

Soak gond katira and basil seeds

Take two separate bows and soak gond katira and basil seeds overnight or for 6-7 hours.

How To Make?

Take a mixer and add soaked gond katira, watermelon, lemon juice, mint leaves and honey. Blend it together until smooth.

Garnish and serve

Transfer the drink into a glass and add soaked basil seeds on top. Add ice cubes and garnish the drink with mint leaves. You can also add milk and rooh afza to this.
