Ingredients
Two cups of cold milk, six tablespoons of sugar or two tablespoons of rose syrup, two tablespoons dry rose petals, half a cup chilled water, 3-4 tablespoons of rooh afza, one cup watermelon cubes, two tablespoons of basil seeds (sanja seeds), and ice cubes as required.
Soak the basil seeds
Take a bowl with water and add basil to it. Soak the seeds for 10 minutes until they completely absorb the water.
Prepare the watermelon
Start by chopping fresh watermelon into small cubes. Now, remove the seeds from the watermelon pieces.
Combine ingredients
Take a large jug and add full-fat milk, rooh afza, sugar, rose syrup and soaked basil seeds. Stir it well to combine.
Garnish and serve
Now, add crunchy watermelon pieces and ice cubes to this and stir well. Garnish the sharbat with rose petals.
