Ingredients
One cup hung curd, one tbsp sabja seeds, half tsp chilli powder, one tsp roasted jeera, half tsp black salt, half tsp pink Himalayan salt, half cup roasted makhana
What else you need?
One cup boiled or sprouted black chana, half carrot, half beetroot, help cucumber, half tomato, help onion, half pomegranate, coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
Make the Base
In a bowl, combine one cup of hung curd with one tablespoon of sabja seeds and mix in some spices.
Add Roasted Makhana & Chana
To this mix in half a cup of roasted makhana, and in cooked or sprouted chickpeas (chana) add about a cup.
Prepare the Vegetables
Grate or chop half a carrot, half a beetroot, half a cucumber, half a tomato, and half a chopped onion. These vegetables are healthy and nutritious.
Add Pomegranate and Herbs
Now, add about half a cup of pomegranate seeds as well as chopped fresh coriander roots and mint leaves to the salad for a bit of fresh flavour.
Mix and Serve
Gently toss mixture. Season with either black salt or pink Himalayan salt, and a sprinkle of roasted jeera before serving.
