Ingredients
Half a cup of corn kernels, one cup of brown sugar, half a cup of unsalted butter, one-fouth cup of golden syrup, half a teaspoon of baking soda, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Pop the corn
Heat the oil in a pan and add popcornn kernels to it. Cover the pan with a lid and let the popcorns pop.
Prepare caramel
Take a sauceapn and add unsalted butter, brown sugar, and golden syrup. Heat this over medium flame until butter and suagr is melted.
Coat the popcorns
Turn off the heat and add the baking soda and vanilla extract to the sauce. Stir it well. Pour the sauce over popcorn and coat them using a spatula.
Bake the popcorn
Spread the popcorns on a baking tray layered with baking sheet. Bake the popcorn at 120°C for 15-20 minutes until they are crispy.
Serve the popcorn
Let the popcorns cool, down completely and break them into small clusters or break the individual pieces. Serve on movie nights.
