Ingredients
Two cups of makhana, one and half tablespoons of honey, one cup of yoghurt, one-fourth cup of almonds, half a teaspoon of ground cardamom, and half a teaspoon of saffron
Soak saffron strands
Take a bowl and half a teaspoon of saffron strands with one tablespoon of boiling water. Soak it for a few minutes.
Roast makhna
Take a pan and add one tablespoon of ghee, a pinch of salt and two cups of makhana. Roast them for a few minutes until golden brown.
Blend ingredients
Take a mixer and add roasted makhanas, soaked saffron, honey, yoghurt, almonds, and cardamom. Blend them together for a smooth paste.
Refrigerate
Pour the mixture into the small glass bowl and refrigerate them for one hour. This will set the pudding.
Garnish
Top the pudding off with grated almonds and pistachios. Serve it cold.
