Ingredients
Two tablespoons of khus khus (poppy seeds), four cup of water, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, one-fourth teaspoon of cardamom powder, one tablespoon of rose syrup, a few ice cubes, and fresh mint leaves.
Soak khus (poppy seeds)
Take a bowl and add water with poppy seeds. Keep them soaked for an hour until they are softened.
Blend ingredients
Now, take a mixer and add the soaked poppy seeds. Blend them until it has turned smooth.
Combine water and sugar
Take a saucepan and add water with sugar. Boil and stir it until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Boil and simmer
Now, add the blended khus paste to the pan. Stir it well and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes on a low flame.
Add rose syrup
Let the sharbat cool down to room temperature and add rose syrup with cardamom powder. Serve with fresh mint leaves and ice cubes on top.
