Ingredients
Two tablespoons of ghee, one tablespoon of cumin seeds (jeera), one tablespoon of mustard seeds (rai), one dried red chilli, one small onion, two tablespoons of grated garlic, one tablespoon of red chilli powder, half a tablespoon of turmeric, one cup of curd, chopped coriander leaves, and salt to taste.
Saute onions
Take a pan and heat the ghee for some time. Now, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dried red chilli, and chopped onion. Saute this well.
Add herbs and spices
Once the onions have become golden brown, add garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt, and turmeric powder.
Add curd
Now, turn off the flame and add one cup of curd to this and mix it well. Top this with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Serve
Serve this Janhvi Kapoor-inspired tadka dahi with rice. You can enjoy this meal for a Sunday lunch.
