Ingredients

One litre full-fat milk, one-fourth cup cashew nuts, one-fourth cup almonds, one-fourth cup pistachios, ten cardamom pods, ten peppercorns, two tbsp poppy seeds, one and a half tbsp fennel seeds, two tbsp watermelon seeds, one tbsp cucumber seeds, one tbsp rose water, half tsp cinnamon powder, half tsp nutmeg powder, saffron, sugar, water.

Soak the Ingredients

Soak the nuts including cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, cardamom, peppercorns, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, watermelon and cucumber seeds in water overnight.

Blend the Soaked Ingredients

You need to blend the soaked ingredients into a smooth paste. Milk will help a little in blending and will give a smooth texture. Blend the mixture well.

Heat the Milk

Now, in a container heat one litre of full-fat milk till it begins to simmer. Stir it in between to prevent burning.

Add Spices and Flavors

Add the blended paste, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, saffron, and rose water to the simmering milk. Stir thoroughly to avoid lump.

Sweeten and Serve

You can sweeten it with sugar to taste and allow it to simmer for 5-10 minutes. Then serve chilled or warm. Enjoy!
