Ingredients
One cup of besan (gram flour), a teaspoon of salt and black salt, one cup of water, half a teaspoon of ajwain, a pinch of turmeric powder, 8-10 palak leaves, oil for frying, 3-4 tablespoons of curd, one-fourth teaspoon of cumin and red chilli powder, two teaspoon sof onion, tomato, sev, tamarind and mint chutney.
Prepare batter
Combine besan, ajwain salt, turmeric powder and water together into a smooth batter. Dip each palak patta in this fry until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare other ingredients
Chop onions and tomatoes into smaller pieces. Add a pinch of black salt to the curd and whisk it well until smooth.
Layer ingredients
Top the fried spinach leaves with the whisked curd, tamarind and mint chutneys. Now, sprinkle the chopped tomatoes and onion on top.
Serve
Garish the palak patt chaat with pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves and sev for added crunch.
