Ingredients
4-6 raw bananas, half a teaspoon of salt or to taste, half a teaspoon of red chilli powder, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, one tablespoon of breadcrumbs, one tablespoon of corn flour, and coconut oil for frying as needed.
Prep the banana
Wash and peel the raw bananas and pat them dry. Cut the bananas into long and thin strips or wedges like fries.
Season the fries
Add the fries to a mixing bowl and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, corn flour, and breadcrumbs. Coat and season the fries nicely from all sides.
Fry
Heat coconut oil in a deep pan and add fries into small batches. Fry them for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy from both sides.
Drain
Remove the fries from oil and keep them on paper towels. Pat them to remove excess oil from the fries.
Serve
Let the chips cool down for sometime and garnish with dried parsley. Serve this with tomato ketchup and cheesy dip.
