Ingredients
One cup jaggery, half cup curd, one-fourth cup oil, one and a half cup milk, two cup ragi flour, two tbsp cocoa powder, one tsp vanilla extract, pinch salt, one-fourth tsp baking soda, one tsp baking powder.
Prepare the wet ingredients
Take a container, and add jaggery, curd, oil, and milk together. Mix them well till it gets smooth and combined paste.
Sift the dry ingredients
Now, take a different container, add ragi flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda together and a pinch of salt. Stir it well.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually and slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir them well to form a smooth batter.
Add vanilla extract
After combining all the dry mixture you need to add mix in the vanilla extract for extra flavour. You can add it according to your taste.
Prepare the cooking pan
You have to grease a non-stick pan and pour the batter into it. Now, cover the pan with a lid.
Cook the cake
After that, put the pan on low heat and cook for 35-40 minutes. Check if it is done by inserting a toothpick. It should come out clean.
