Ingredients
One bael fruit (wood apple), 2-3 tablespoons of jaggery, two teaspoons black pepper, half a lemon juice, 2-3 lemon slices, 4-5 mint leaves, a pinch of roasted jeera powder and a pinch of black salt.
Extract bael pulp
Crack open the bael fruit into half and scoop the pulp using a spoon. Discard the seeds from pulp.
Add water and strain
Now add the cold water to the pulp and let it soak for a few hours or overnight. Starin the juice the morning using a cheesecloth.
Add jaggery
Now, add jaggery powder and cumin powder to the juice. Whisk it well until the jaggery is combined.
Muddle spices
Take a glass and add mint leaves, lemon slices, lemon juice, black pepper and black salt. Muddle it for a few seconds.
Chill and serve
Add the extracted bael juice to the muddled spices. Add ice and stir it well; serve it chilled for a refreshing drink.
