Ingredients
Two cups rice flour, half a cup water, one-fourth teaspoon salt, one-fourth teaspoon cumin seeds, one-fourth teaspoon coriander powder, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder, a tablespoon ghee or oil.
Combine ingredients
Take a bowl and add rice flour, salt, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and turmeric powder. Stir it well to combine.
Add water
Now, slowly add water and stir it continuously to avoid forming lumps. Mix it until it is a smooth paste.
Knead the dough
Knead the dough into a smooth texture for 5-7 minutes. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Shape papad
Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into thin circles. You can use a roti maker to flatten them.
Sundry the papad
Place the papad onto a thin muslin cloth. Sun dry the papd for 2-3 days until slightly brown and crisp. Serve it with evening tea or dal chawal.
