Ingredients
One ripe muskmelon, one cup of milk, one-fourth cup of custard powder (mixed with 3 tablespoons of milk), two tablespoons of sugar or condensed milk, two tablespoons of chopped almonds (badam), and two tablespoons of pomegranate seeds.
Prepare Muskmelon
Start by peeling the muskmelon. Slice off the top of the muskmelon and hollow it out. Remove the pulp and discard the seeds.
Make melon puree
Take a mixer and add extra muskmelon pulp; blend it for 2-3 minutes until it is smooth and creamy.
Cook Custard
Add milk, custard powder mixture, and sugar to a pan. Cook it on a medium flame until it starts to thicken. Add the muskmelon puree and stir well to combine.
Assemble in the Shell
Take the hollow muskmelon shell. Layer the custard mixture with chopped almonds and pomegranate seeds. Make 2-3 layers like this
Chill and Serve
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set completely. Slice the muskmelon into wedges and serve cold.
