Why peanut chilla?
Peanuts are packed with protein and healthy fats. It is rich in fibre that helps keep you full for longer and aids in weight management. It also helps in muscle building.
Ingredients
One cup of gram flour, half a cup of peanuts, half a cup of water, one-fourth teaspoon of salt, one-fourth teaspoon of baking soda, one tablespoon of peanut butter, and one scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional).
Grind peanuts
Add half a cup of peanuts with water to a mixer. Add water accordingly and blend it into a smooth paste.
Prepare batter
Take a bowl and add gram flour, blended peanut paste, protein powder, salt, spices, and water. Whisk it well to make a smooth and runny batter.
Prepare pan
Heat the pan on a medium flame. Lightly grease the pan with peanut oil or ghee for added nutty flavour.
Cook chilla
Now add two ladles of batter to the pan and spread it in a thin circle. Cook it well from both sides until golden brown.
Serve
Spread some peanut butter on top. You can also pair it with a yoghurt, peanut chutney on the side.
