Why peanut butter ladoo?
Peanuts are packed with fibre, protein, and healthy fats. It is rich in fibre that helps keep you full for longer and helps regulate sugar cravings. It also helps in muscle building.
Ingredients
One cup of peanuts, one litre of milk, half a cup of grated coconut, 3-4 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 1-2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, one tablespoon of peanut butter, one-third cup of roasted besan (gram flour), and one tablespoon of ghee.
Roast peanuts
Take and pan and dry roast peanuts on a low flame. Cool them to room temperature and remove their skin.
Grind peanuts
Add roasted peanuts to a mixer and grind it into a coarse powder. Add 1-2 tablespoons of milk and blend it into a smooth paste.
Combine ingredients
Heat milk in a pan and add peanut-milk paste, sugar, grated coconut, and sesame seeds. Stir it well to combine the mixture.
Add peanut butter
Once the mixture starts to thicken, add peanut butter with roasted besan to it. Cook it until it is nice and soft.
Shape ladoos
Grease your hands with ghee and take small parts of the ladoo mixture. Shape the portions into small balls and set them aside. Garnish with nuts or grated coconut on top.
