Ingredients
One-fourth cup of boiled kala chana, 1-2 cups of salad leaves (I’ve used a mix), half a cup strawberry quarters, half an onion, half a sliced cucumber, feta cheese crumbled, candied walnuts.
Dressing ingredients
Three tablespoons of olive oil, two tablespoon of orange juice, one tablespoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of mustard paste, a pinch of turmeric, and salt and pepper to taste.
Boil kala chana
Start by soaking the kala chana overnight and boiling them until well cooked. Soak the onions in cold water and keep it aside.
Prepare dressing
Take a bowl and add orange juice, lime juice, mustard, honey extra virgin olive oil, honey, turmeric, salt and pepper. Stir or shake it well to mix all the ingredients.
Prepare greens
Thoroughly wash and finely chop lettuce and iceberg lettuce along with stawberries. Mix this with other ingredients.
Arrange salad
Take a salad bowl and salad leaves, boiled kala chana, onion, cucumber, strawberries and salad dressing. Toss it well to mix all the ingredients.
Garnish
Garnish the salad with chopped walnuts and feta cheese on top. Drizzle olive oil on top and serve.
