Ingredients

One cup of besan, one cup of sugar, half a cup of ghee, one-fourth cup of milk, a pinch of cardamom powder, and half a cup of chopped dry fruits.

Roast besan

Take a pan and add besan to it. Dry roast the besan on low flame until golden brown. Stir it continuously to avoid burning.

Combine milk and sugar

Take a saucepan and add milk with sugar. Cook this on medium heat until sugar gets completely dissolved and milk starts to thicken.

Add ghee

Now, add the milk to the roasted besan and mix it well to combine. Add ghee and cardamom powder and stir it continuously.

Set burfi

Pour the cooked mixture into a tray greased with butter and leave it aside. Once the burfi is set, cut it into small squares.

Garnish

Garnish the burfi with chopped dry fruits on top and store it in an airtight container. Enjoy this throughout the winter season.
