Ingredients
4-5 raw bananas, 2-4 cups of water, two tablespoons of salt, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, and two cups of coconut oil.
Chop and peel bananas
Start by thoroughly peeling the bananas. Pick the raw bananas for this cut them evenly into thin slices.
Soak the slices
Take water in a bowl and mix salt and turmeric powder in it. Soak the banana slices in this for 10-15 minutes.
Drain excess water
After 10-15 minutes drain the excess water and spread the banana slices on paper towels. This will remove excess moisture.
Deep fry banana slices
Heat coconut oil in a pan on medium flame. Drop the slices into this, and deep fry them until golden brown and crispy.
Season chips
Drain the excess oil on paper towels and cool down for some time. Season the chips with salt and store them in an airtight container.
